EMPOWERING HEALTH ACCESS
Current Projects
Advancing respiratory care in Ethiopia
Ethiopia faces a critical gap in access to advanced pulmonary interventions, limiting care for complex lung diseases. To address this need, GHEP is working to establish the country’s first Interventional Pulmonology (IP) training program, focusing on bronchoscopy, pleural procedures, and minimally invasive techniques. In collaboration with local and international partners, the program aims to strengthen pulmonary care, improve patient outcomes, and build sustainable local expertise.
Mechanical Ventilator Training for Healthcare Workers in Low-Resource Settings
Equipping healthcare workers in low-resource settings with essential ventilator management skills through web-based learning, case discussions, and hands-on simulations, enhancing clinical decision-making and patient care.
Pulmonary Health Monitoring, Research, and Policy Analysis
Advancing pulmonary health equity through data-driven research, disease monitoring, and policy analysis to inform effective interventions.
