Bethlehem Atoma is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow and the Chief of Global Health Equity Partners, where she leads efforts to expand healthcare access in underserved communities. With a deep commitment to global health equity, she focuses on bridging gaps in medical care, education, and resource distribution, particularly in low-resource settings across the USA and East Africa.

Dr. Atoma has extensive experience working in underprivileged healthcare environments, where she has developed strategies to enhance medical training, strengthen health systems, and implement sustainable healthcare models. Her leadership emphasizes capacity building, collaborative partnerships, and innovative solutions to address disparities in pulmonary and critical care medicine.

Passionate about fostering long-term impact, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams, local stakeholders, and international partners to drive meaningful change. She is also actively involved in developing specialized training programs, including interventional pulmonology initiatives, to advance medical education and improve patient outcomes in Ethiopia and beyond.
